What You Can Expect
- Old and New Designations on the Certificate: 06Cr19Ni10 = formerly 0Cr18Ni9 = ASTM 304 — all three names are printed side by side, so customs and design institutes have nothing to cross-check
- Thickness 0.3–60 mm, maximum width 2000 mm; cold-rolled 2B / BA, hot-rolled No.1, plus HL / 8K / embossed patterns for finished-surface plate
- Certificates to GB/T or EN 10204 3.1 can be issued together; third-party inspection (SGS / BV) arranged before loading
FAQ
Chemically the two are equivalent and interchangeable. The difference lies in the governing standard: GB/T 3280 versus ASTM A240. We show both designations on the certificate so that neither customs nor inspection rejects the shipment
We apply the stricter value for each element (usually carbon content and mechanical properties) and state both standard numbers on the certificate, so a single shipment clears both markets
